Dear Parents,
As we prepare to start the 2022 Fall Softball Season, I wanted to reach out personally and thank each of you for an incredible year for our organization. In 2021 we saw a record number of players within all of our divisions, leading to our highest enrollment levels in the past 5 years, all during a pandemic. Knowing how vital transparency, feedback, and new ideas are to our club, we also implemented year-end coach evaluations. We sought out your thoughts on the priorities that needed addressing to support our girls and make our organization better. Through your responses and direction, we were able to make significant improvements to our dugouts and fields, batting cages as well as provide relevant assessments to our staff.
As we move into the second half of 2022, we are positioning ourselves for additional growth and an increased need for support. This support will allow us to continue our mission of "providing programs for girls to have fun and develop friendships while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and athletic skills through the sport of softball." Therefore I'm excited to announce the establishment of the Noblesville Girls Softball Advisory Committee. Comprised of Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, or advocates of youth sports in general. You do NOT need to be a softball expert! This volunteer committee will focus on areas such as:
Event Planning/Support | Social Media | Marketing |
Fundraising | Team Management | Awareness |
Volunteer Events | Recognition | Game Day Staffing |
Prior experience in any of the above is not necessary, so don't be scared away! If you have the desire to make a difference, thoughts on how our league should grow, or merely want to offer a perspective that we might not be thinking of, we want you to join us. Our girls and our organization only get better through the collective efforts of your willingness to volunteer. There is no set time commitment required to be a member of the Advisory Committee. You can participate as much or as little as your interest or time allows. If you're interested in learning more about any of these opportunities, please reach out to me directly, Justin Murphy, at president@noblesvillesoftball.com.
Once again, I cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be part of these incredible young ladies' development. Not only on the field but on how they've gained personal confidence, leadership skills, and develop lasting friendships within the organization. They are all a pleasure to work with.
Want To Become A Board Member and make a difference?
Want to provide input into how our league should grow and succeed?
Got ideas on what we could do better?
Are you willing to donate your time and effort to make the program successful?
If any of these sound appealing to you Noblesville Softball is always looking for dedicated, potential Board Members to join the league. Noblesville Softball could not exist without this group of volunteers. We are a working board and are always looking for individuals who want to join us. If you have an interest in joining the Noblesville Softball board and/or finding out more about what the Noblesville Softball board does please contact President, Justin Murphy.
