Q: Wait, what?

A: NGSA will no longer have access to the property where our current fields are located after this calendar year (2023).  We have partnered with Noblesville Schools for an interim solution. We will develop and use softball fields at 4 of the elementary schools (North, Hinkle Creek, Stony Creek, and Promise Road). We will also have some access to the middle school and high school softball fields. We’re also working on a plan for a long-term home. This plan is years away, but we’re starting now!

Q: Why are we moving?

A: We have been leasing the property from Crownland Cemetery and have been asked to vacate by the end of 2023 due to an upcoming cemetery expansion project.

Q: Will NGSA still exist?

A: Absolutely!  We have been working hard to secure interim fields for our girls as well as a forever home.

Q: Will NGSA still be running the program?

A: Yes!  The NGSA board will still be running and operating the program.  Want to get involved?!  Email us at [email protected]

Q: Will Noblesville Schools be running the program?

A: Noblesville Schools will not be running the program.  We are partnering with Noblesville Schools for fields, but we (NGSA) will still have full control of how we run our program.

Q: Will my daughter still get to play next year?

A: Yes!  We have secured 4 fields for our use as well as access to the middle school and high school fields when not in use for their seasons.

Q: Where are the new interim fields located?

Q: Is this a permanent change?

A: Yes and no.  We will not be returning to our current location located near the Noblesville High School. We will be building a forever home for our girls.  We will be using the fields on school property while we continue to secure and build that forever home.

Q: What is the long-term plan?

A: We are still in the process of securing and getting our forever home site approved.  The plan is to have one central location again but will take a few years to put in place.

Q: Other teams already use those fields, will we really be able to use them?

A: Yes! Scheduling will be tight, but we’re confident everyone can get the field time they need. As part of our agreement, NGSA will have first right of refusal for these fields for the duration of our agreement.

Q: Who is paying for all this?

A: Beaver Materials is donating heavy equipment, labor, materials and storage. 👏👏👏
